From time to time I’m always asked what makes Game of Thrones good or why everyone is obsessed with it. Yes, the show that people usually don’t watch cause it has incest, nudity, sex, carnage, people standing around talking, violence just for the sake of violence. Well I will explain why people love this show including me:

The Plot:

Nine families are all trying to claim a throne to control the world of Westros. They will do anything to try to sit on it even if it means necessary. Everybody wants it for one thing or another but it’s on everyone’s agenda to go to battle for it.

Characters:

There’s a ton of characters in this show that it would take way too long to list, all you need to know is not to get too attached to them. Some will die, some will live, and others have their days numbered. Of course you have your favorite characters and others you hate. Trust me, the ones you hate are usually the ones that start conflicts in the show that are bizarre.

Location:

The more the show progresses the more new places show up that expand the world of Westros. They are beautiful places and others are places that you’ll except to see in your nightmares. All of it is all built and there’s no CGI what so ever.

Epic Battles:

This is what makes the show so brilliant! There are episodes that focus all on the battle and it’s very intense. They always begin slowly to build up to the madness. They explain the situation then the battle starts which it always ends in a jaw dropping scene.

Social Aspect:

All the time when fans talk about how good Game of Thrones is, they always want to know who their favorite characters are, theories, and who they want to see on the throne. Some even want to know who their favorite house is to. That’s my favorite question cause it shows their personality. You have the Starks who are loyal, The Lannisters who are rich and brats, The Tagaryens who are crazy, The Tullys who  are stubborn and care about family first, The Bartheons who are strong and always stand their ground, and The Greyjoys who are selfish.
